enable you to build personalized birthday party invitations, birth announcements and
other newsletters caricaturing on your child quickly and with professional looking results.
We have no desire or need to sell or share your data, profile or track users, download spyware or
do anything which would tarnish our reputation and erode your trust in us. Therefore, we:
- only collect the information we need
- always transmit sensitive information over secure connections
- don't store anything we don't need to store
- never store your credit card information
- never share your personal information
- delete all collected information after 30 days of non-use

Information Collection and Retention
MegaStarNewsletters.com collects only the information that is:
- needed to construct and personalize your newsletter
- needed to send you your finished newsletter
- required for payment processing and
- provided automatically by your browser
We always collect the child's name, gender, birthdate and home town, the newsletter's theme
(Birth Announcement, Birthday Party Invitation or Neither) as well as the first names of the
child's parents. This information is used solely for insertion into the texts of the stories
and to determine which stories and story fill-ins are appropriate for inclusion. Depending on the
stories incorporated in the newsletter, we may ask for other information such as the first name
of one of the child's friends or a favorite sports team. These are only used to personalize
the stories. Most users upload digital photographs, which are only used to produce their
newsletters. Uploaded photographs are never shared with third parties.
Transmission and Use of E-mail Addresses, Telephone Numbers and Addresses
E-mail addresses are always collected over a secure connection and are used to send your
newsletter. In rare cases e-mail addressed may be used to contact you for
administrative purposes. Your telephone number and address are used solely
for credit card authorization. This information is not stored on our servers.
Transmission and Use of Credit Card Information
Credit card information is securely transmitted via industry-standard 128-bit SSL
to our payment processor in order to authorize and process the charge. Your credit
card information is never stored on our servers.
Data Retention
When 30
days have elapsed since the collected data has been modified, the information
you entered and the photographs you uploaded will be permanently deleted. This
occurs regardless of whether or not you purchase your newsletter.
Data Sharing
Credit card information that we collect on our pages is securely transmitted to our credit
card processor for authorization and payment. No other data is shared or transmitted to
another party.
Cookies
We use a simple cookie with a unique number that identifies each newsletter
to the system. This allows visitors to resume building newsletters started in a
prior session.
